As a parent, as a public leader, and someone trained in mental health and theology, I stand squarely on the side of the rights of our LGBTQ neighbors. I will never vote to limit freedoms around who one marries, who one loves, how one dresses, which bathroom someone uses, or what sports team someone plays on.
